DECEMBER IS HERE AND THAT MEANS HELPING OUR CHILDREN WHO CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES!!!!

I’m this state today and this country our homeless youth numbers are rising at alarming rates. Our numbers here in Jefferson County, Missouri for homelessness and food insecurities has quadrupled in the past year. This is a problem. We here at Nomoretears21:4 have the means and the reach not only within Missouri and internationally to call upon our partners to ask for your help this year and this month to strengthen our ability to help our local families in need.
We have gathered a list of items that individuals polled have stated that they would most likely need or want from different locations and we would ask the people to help us allocate these to them. Any little bit can help.
I myself found myself asking for help to simply be able to have a Turkey dinner for my family due to me being on disability myself as well this year. If we do not all start to work together then we will not be able to help those less fortunate. Even though I founded Nomoretears21:4 my life is separate. I have and will continue to pour what I can into it. I do not collect anything from my work with them as my contract is only on a volunteer contract as I wished for (yes unconventional I know, but what I wanted).
I believe that if we have the means to give back, in my case with my time and knowledge, then I should form ways to make sure I bring resources into my community to fight these hardships that we are facing. The only wish that we have is that our Country will help us out as well if they can.
It takes so little effort to buy a little bit of food that is going to go a long way and let our shelters be able to provide meals and clothing and necessary items of families fleeing domestic violence or ones on the streets still needing food that are Veterans of ours that utilize our food lines. Any little way that we can help these agencies in our community we wish to be able to do so by Christmas.
Our ask is this and it’s simple. If you feel the need to do something small for someone this year and you do not know how to help? Then we have the way. Everything you buy is tracked and secure. You know your item is going to a shelter or food pantry and we will be announcing where everything goes at the end of this drive. We are counting on all you wonderful American patriots that we know to help out this year to make this a success for our county and truly hope that we can.
Another option you have as well is if you want to, after you’ve donated a gift you can sign up for our Elfster Gift Exchange with our sister organization, the Aurora Hope Organization, and our secret Santa’s will draw names on December 10th to decide who gets a gift!!!!!
