My Friend, My Hero in Heaven Now~Gone March 2021…🌹🇺🇸🌻
“Hey My Friend, how are you doing today?”…
That’s how Dale (Wiley) always started off our conversations! And if you KNEW Dale then you knew that he only had Love in his Heart for this World these past few years.
I absolutely don’t know about how he was before I met him, I can only attest to what I do know, and that is that he was always, and I mean ALWAYS respectful and kind and motivating to me!
Dale had a way of speaking to me and get me into action. I had been wrestling around with what I wanted in life and all of a sudden I get the need to pray. I was feeling boxed in again. Damn PTSD.
So I prayed. When I did, I knew I’d get an answer to those prayers one day, and two days later I somehow connected to God. Now mind you, neither of us to the day he died could not figure it out. How we connected that is. You see, some people enter your life for a little while while others stay forever.
Dale asked me if we could do a podcast because he was so amazed by my story and he started calling me an “Overcomer”.
I never really liked being labeled but if he wanted to put me on the air I thought, hell why not. So we did it!
Next thing I know he sits me down and asks me if I wanted to do something with him. He wanted to do what I did. He wanted to start a Nonprofit to be able to tell individuals stories that they could get them out to the world. You see he already did that. He had his stories published so he wanted to help others. So he asked if I would help him open Heroes and Miracles with him. I had no problem helping him out. He sent me the paperwork (which I still have) we signed and one others name was on there and that was it! It became a 501(c)3 nonprofit!
He was so excited! And I was for him. Then the problems started. The books I’m writing are starting with 7 books that do not exactly swing with Missouri Christian Language. This is trauma and human trafficking after all and I refused to be silenced or to change the narrative of the book or my speech and take curse words out of real live conversations to water the book down to make it more palliative to Christian readers. Christian readers and other readers all alike need to be able to hear the cold hard truth about these stories and I will write them that way so we had to go separate ways on the publishing aspect of the book.
And then Covid19 hit. Dale always continued to support my efforts with both of the organizations and with my book deal that eventually DID happen from out of California! And now we are back on schedule. I am writing and I miss my brother. I know that he is up there running marathons and looking down on all of us and it wasn’t his fault we had to part ways business wise. His donors and church organizations simply did not like the bluntness and truthfulness of the stories he said. I was ok with that reason.
Fly High Dale! We will meet again!
